Transition Specialist:
The Asotin County Transition Specialist focuses on individuals aged 14-21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  The Transition Specialist collaborates with community stakeholders to enhance service system understanding, improve access, and optimizes outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Wage is $22.10 per hour under collective bargaining.  Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, with a bachelor’s degree in education or a degree in Human Services Field with experience working with youth with developmental disabilities.

Direct Support Positions:
Asotin County Community Services has 2 Direct Support 1 positions open, 1 full-time permanent and 1 seasonal, to assist students with disabilities get off to a good start in their first paid summer job! The successful candidate is energetic and positive with the ability to support students over a variety of hours, at various locations in their first paid work experiences.

Wage is $17.20 per hour with a flexible schedule 17 hours to 35 hours per week. Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license and insurance, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test. Part-time/Seasonal position is not eligible for benefits.

The positions are open until filled. 

Full-time positions are qualified for benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, vacation, and sick leave, 11 paid holidays, and 1 paid floating holiday. Applicants must be able to pass background check and drug test. Asotin County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
