Director/County Engineer
ASOTIN COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR/COUNTY ENGINEER – ASOTIN COUNTY, WA
Asotin County is located along the banks of the Snake River in S.E. Washington, bordered by Idaho and Oregon. This position plans, organizes, directs, and implements activities in the Public Works Dept. which includes Road, Solid Waste, and Stormwater Divisions. Responsible for the establishment, design, construction, alteration and improvements of county roads and bridges as required by law. Requirements include a B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field and Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in the State of Washington or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire; three (3) years of progressively responsible managerial experience or combination of experience and training; professional engineering work involving the design, construction or maintenance of roads.
Salary range $129,132.11 - $150,078.72. $20,000 sign on bonus $5,000 at time of hire, $7,000 upon satisfactory completion of probationary period (6 months) and final payment of $8,000 on 1 year anniversary. Relocation assistance possible.
