Restoration Crew Leader
The Asotin County Conservation District is seeking a Restoration Crew Leader to join our team. This will be a full-time, hourly position. The person in this position will work closely with landowners, ACCD professional staff, and partners to implement restoration projects. The duties of this position are to lead the implementation of restoration projects, including tree/shrub/grass plantings and maintenance, low tech process-based instream restoration and adaptive management, forestry, weed control, and non-commercial best management practices. Position requires work in the field. Fieldwork will include working in and around locations such as farms, streams, rivers, creeks & ponds; properties with dense vegetation or woodlands; other areas with steep, slippery, muddy, rocky, uneven, and rough terrain and around livestock and wildlife. The crew leader provides day-to-day direction and coordination for the ACCD restoration crew. Starting compensation is $25.00 per hour DOQ/DOE plus a competitive benefit package. (Wage Range 4 - $19.74 to $36.49).
