About us: We are a small law firm practicing solely in estate planning and administration (wills,
trusts, powers of attorney, etc.). We help our community’s families to identify and minimize the risk
of disputes and to realize the significant tax and asset protection planning they may not realize they
need. Each client receives meticulous and thorough attention. We value different perspectives and
ideas, especially if they can improve our processes or our final results. By necessity, we work with
highly confidential information. As a result, it is imperative that every member of our team
demonstrate and maintain high levels of discretion.
Job Responsibilities: An average day for this employee could include:
• Communicating with potential or current clients, government officials and employees,
accounting or financial advisory firms, or other attorneys’ offices via email, over the phone,
and in person
• Assisting clients in signing legal documents, including notarizing documents (our team will
help you apply for and obtain a notary commission)
• Maintaining law practice management software (data entry and management)
• Completing basic bookkeeping tasks or assisting clients with basic asset titling or “estate
funding” tasks in cooperation with real estate title companies or financial institutions
• Drafting correspondence and basic documents of increasing complexity over time
• Scheduling meetings and appointments
• Maintaining and refining client files, including physical and electronic organization
• Managing our office space and basic supplies to ensure client care and team productivity
Qualifications: We are not looking for an applicant who has a certain degree or background, but we
are interested in someone growth-oriented who can offer us:
• High degree of skill with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Windows 11, and web-based cloud
software
• Patience, curiosity, and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Great communication skills, especially over the phone and in writing
• Reasonable typing and keyboarding speed
• Willingness to adopt new processes to ensure a high degree of quality
• Trustworthiness in dealing with assets and confidential information
Job Type/Schedule: A full-time (40 hours/week) schedule is preferred, but we will consider a part-
time schedule of 30-35 hours/week for the right candidate. The schedule will be business hours: 8
am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break.
Compensation: $20/hour+ based on skill set and suitability to role. Tax-free health reimbursement
arrangement. All Washington sick-leave and family-leave benefits. Paid vacation and holidays.

the first instance. We will contact selected candidates for interviews
