Operator/Truck Driver

JOB DESCRIPTION

Applications are being accepted for Operator/Truck Driver for the Potlatch Maintenance Area. This is a full-time position. Salary is dependent upon qualifications with an excellent benefit package.

PRIMARY DUTIES
•Perform road maintenance activities during all weather conditions and for on call/extended hours

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•All applicants must pass a drug test before beginning work or receiving an offer of employment. Refusal to submit to testing will result in disqualification of further employment consideration.
•Must be able to lift 100 pounds four (4) feet off the ground.
•Must have a current Class A Commercial Driver's License.
•Must be able to communicate with the public in a professional manner.
•Must reside within 30 minutes of the NLCHD maintenance shop located at 1024 Travis Road, Potlatch, ID 83855.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Equipment operator experience (road grader, excavator, wheel loader)
•Knowledge of road maintenance
•In-depth mechanical knowledge and experience
•Metal fabrication/welding experience
